Fat Thursday

by admin

Fat Thursday PosterThe Polish Club at MIT would like to invite all members of MIT community to celebrate Fat Thursday, the last Thursday before Lent. It is similar to, but should not be confused with, the French festival of Mardi Gras (“Fat Tuesday”). This means you can go to two different international festivals in a span of one week!

For all you Christians out there, Fat Thursday is the last Thursday where you can feast and party until after Easter. Make sure you don’t miss this opportunity and drop by Student Center Mezzanine Lounge on Thursday, February 11th 9-11pm.

We will provide tons of free food including, but not limited to such polish specialties as pączki and faworki. If you have never heard of those, just ask any polish person. They would immediately drift into state of unstoppable bliss. This should be enough argument for anyone, so I expect all of you to be there.

Oh and make sure you tell your friends. The more the merrier 🙂

See you all on Thursday.
